My son has had lessons with Wendy for around 3 years from being a complete beginner, albeit with lots of musical knowledge from other instruments. Wendy tailors the lessons exactly to his needs and wishes, going at his pace and focusing on pieces of music which appeal to him most, rather than following a pre-determined and well-trodden path. My son chooses to play for pleasure, rather than to take exams, but Wendy has loosely built in the exam syllabus to provide him with clear indicators of progress. I would not hesitate to recommend Wendy - great fun lessons, relaxed style with really impressive results.
